Remove the HP Universal Print Driver

  1. Click on the start button, select Devices and Printers
  1. Right click on the printer icon and select Remove Device for any printers that use the HP UPD.
  1. Once all icons for the printer being uninstalled have been removed, click on the start button and type printui /s /t2 then press the Enter key.
  2. The Print Server Properties dialogue opens. The dialogue can also be opened from the Devices and Printers folder by selecting any other printer and clicking Print server properties in the top menu bar, then selecting the Drivers tab.
  3. Select the HP UPD and click “Remove…”
